21-100 Bearing Preload

My mill has the O.E.M. MRC 107 KSF DS, and the MRC 108 KSF DS bearings in it. Since these bearings are supposed to be ground on the inner race for a slight bearing preload, I cannot see that what ever you tighten the nut on these bearings to that it would make a difference in bearing preload. The inner race is touching for slight preload and the outer race is touching each other, so is it not preset no matter how tight the nuts are?
 
That is correct, the preload is built into the original bearings.
