I have probably watched these vids at least 20 times. Haha I am even going to watch it again, now that you mentioned it. I would LOVE to try blueberry bear! This guy is great!

I have a scary story about a bear encounter…
I was trout fishing with a good friend on a little mountain creek that I know very well.
My family has been camping there since the 60’s.
We have seen sign of bear, but only seen them on rare occasion.
While heading upstream from the lower camp to the upper camp (about 1-1/2 miles over boulders) , I heard some crunching coming from the brush about 30 yards above the creek bed.
I thought it was a deer at first but the crunching was too loud for deer.
I stopped cold and gave my friend the eyes on gesture, pointing to the direction the crunching was coming from.
There was small clearing in the brush that led to a large rock lying flat into the creek.
Out of the clearing came a black bear .
We both froze and found some religion when 2 cubs came out just behind her.
All I can say is I have no idea why I am able to tell the story- she could have torn us to shreds in seconds.
For whatever reason she stood up, grunted , and looked at us .
Then went back down on all fours.
She turned and started walking upstream and the cubs followed.
Needless to say , I thought i was a dead man even if it was a black bear sow
