About 2 years ago my neighbor asked if I would help him build a cnc plasma table. After a few meetings we decided on the parts needed to start the project and he ordered them. motors, drivers, circuits boards rails ball screws and everything arrived in about a month at my home. 10 foot long ball screws and rails for a 5'x5' table. 2.2kw spindle motor and driver for a router add-on .
Everything sat at my home for about 1 year with no contact from my neighbor who had moved, until about January of this year.
Long story short the project has begun and I wanted to post the story in pics as we go.
The table is 5'x5' x and y and 16" for z, 4th axis that will take up to 40" round tubes. ( fire pits ) and automatic torch height control. The plasma table will have a fast fill water table and can convert to router by placing cover on table.
due to my wife's poor health I may not reply fast or often but I will try to post as I can.
