A good friend called me last week and said he needed some stuff gone from his house he's putting on the market I go there and take 3 loads today's load was this freshly rebuilt VW engine and 2 rare automatic transmissions aka "Auto Sticks" along with 1 rebuild kit. My plan is to put the VW engine in my rat rod truck up front & try to make it a hydrostatic drive. I'm hoping to sell the 2 trannys to fund the hydraulics.

I'll probably turbo the engine for a little more mmmph.

Using the Beatle motor? Yes that's my plan

Using a flat head? No, I sold 2 of them & scrapped 2 of them (against my better judgement )
