7" Rhodes Shaper, Anyone have one?

I guess its for sale. But I have never tried.

I have another slotter, a bridgeport, so this one never gets used anymore.

I am picturing the vertical shaper attachment in a lower old wooden shelf with cob webs in a dark place.
When Grandad dies, the kids will clean out the old shop.
It takes an interested eye to spot it at an Estate sale.
Think of all the beautiful old iron tools that went by way of the junk man.
I guess I’m feeling nostalgic this Christmas morning.
My Grandpa had an unattached garage in Chico, Ca. The home was built in the 20’s with an alley out back.
I loved spending time out there. I can see some rusty old things nobody knew what they were.
I miss him.

Picked one up this weekend. At least I think it is a 7".

That’s beautiful madmod
I will be picking up my Shaper in June.
The gentleman I bought the b&s surface grinder from also sold me the Rhodes 7” shaper. I just got a letter from him as we are making arrangements to pick up the equipment.
He said he has a surface plate for me also.
Can’t wait till June.
I have a spot picked out for each in my garage.
