Cant tell what that is, but it looks like it could be a really capable lathe! QCGB and a 16" lathe will give you a lot of capabilities! probably ~10ft long if its got a 6' bed, so make sure you can fit it!

Yup it looks to be a bit of a giant for a hobby shop.

Looks to me like a pretty old machine, maybe 1910’s or 20’s. Carriage travel on the long axis is ball crank, not the more typical hand wheel. Pretty wide stance on the ways though. Someone should be able to recognize that shape on the top of the compound slide...
