I spent 34 years working in the largest ABS plastics plant in the World. Not sure if I can help you but I will try. Methyl Ethyl Ketone works well as an adhesive on ABS. It actually welds the parts together. Us only in a well ventilated area. Not near any flame. Do not inhale the vapors.
