Alexander 3A engraver and die-sinker ( an English version of the Deckel)

My enquiry about Belville washers resulted in a pair of washers being posted to me at no charge so many thanks, the Bellville Spring company here in England.

I've been having a play with my engraver; here is the first result of a Burrell makers plate in 1 1/2" inches to the foot (1/8th scale)
This as done by making a drawing 8 times larger that the finished job and following the drawing by hand. It's not perfect but it's also not bad.

Not bad? As someone who's done a fair amount of lettering and signs over the years, I'd say that's pretty wicked good! Nice job :encourage:
