Thanks everybody. Its a 7". Saw it on craigslist, looked good. Looked even better in person so now I'm it's new caretaker. Not sure what I'll do with it. I enjoy watching it in action, pretty sure it reduces my blood pressure with it's smooth action. Bought it from the estate of a gentlemen that retired years ago from American Can in NJ. He had a full blown shop in his basement consisting of smaller machines, Delta lathe, etc., and was himself a second generation Tool and Die maker of considerable talent. I also purchased a few other things like a Fowlers toolmakers vice, a Brown and Sharpe cast iron surface plate, Federal indicator and a small three jaw Bison chuck with a back plate that slips into a 1" 5C collet I believe. The fellow running the sale threw in a 12th edition Machinery Handbook in perfect condition for free.
