I have an Anderson Phase Converter 7.5 HP 30 amps serial number 4564. I do not have any documentation and it seems that Anderson has gone out of business.

Does anyone have any documentation?

I hooked it up to a motor today and measured 250 volts between each of the legs. Is this normal, it seems high.

I also need to replace the bearings.

Thanks

What voltage going in? Same voltage between legs show that it is a quality unit, not easy to balance that closely.

I didn't think to measure the input, in our area 240 is standard and is usually exactly 240. Is there something about a rotary phase converter that can change the voltage?

your line voltage coming in will be 240 volts, nominal.
when testing the generated leg in reference to input power, you may get a higher voltage reading if the balancing capacitor(s) are in the circuit being tested.
without balancing, you may have test voltages like this 240,240,208
since a cap appears to be in the circuit, your values may be something like 245,240,256 or something close
this is completely normal
