If i internally thread a odd ball size, how do i determine my major diameter for my male part?

The same Arithmetic applies to Odd-Ball as standard, it's just that only you know the numbers for your thread ;-)

the machinery handbook probably lists it bill

If you cut an non standard internal thread that can't be "looked up", just decide how much thread engagement you want and add it to the id of the threaded bore. That can be your MD of the male thread. Then just cut and try until it fits. Don't forget to knock down the points on the male thread or they'll drag in the roots until you cut too much off.
