Anvil advise

A few years ago I was looking for an anvil, a buddy thought he might know where there was one, at the time I thought they were going for $2 a pound. The chap thought $400 for what he thought was a 200 pound anvil was great. Turned out to be a Hay Budden and guessing in the 300 pound range by the size of the hardy hole, the weight numbers weren't readable. A joy the use, great bounce and almost silent, old Tom had his dads anvil in the garage, it was beautiful, sculpted like a work of art, but deafening, the ring made you think you were in a bell tower.

Hollow, be fun to watch someone try and forge on that.
