I have been cobbling them together for a few years - expanding to AR's now and got the mini-mill to use on the 80% jig that my wife (with a strong hint) scored for me for Christmas...
I have wanted a mill to use for making my AK receivers since the flats I buy from AK Builder don't have the cutouts for the bolt carrier, rear cover/trunnions etc any longer. I use a jig with marking fluid and a carbide scribe to mar them - then hack away with a dremel. I tried using my drill press with an end mill - and it was pretty ugly.
Hoping to exceed my current Pakistani tribal ability to machine these parts!
