I've lusted after one of those ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper as they say, was wondering what they are like to use. I missed a chance to buy one last week and I really am kicking myself for hesitating. I know they are relatively light-duty but the size and weight would work well in my garage.

Hi Yes I've had mine for 30 years or so very pleased with it

I had one for many years and loved it. Only problem I had with it was that the quill leaked oil after the seal ('O' ring?) disintegrated. It was quite flimsy with the round column, but provided you took light cuts, it was OK. The great advantage with it over most other round column machines is the square key to maintain alignment when raising/lowering the head.
Sold it when I retired and 'upgraded' to a Wabeco LF1410HS. Big mistake.

I have had mine for 33 years and have all the accessories. I too have the oil leaking problem, one day I will take it apart and check the "O" rings.
