Any good places for online building plans?

Not a garage but what’s called an ADU (auxiliary dwelling unit) around here.

Designed by a local architect, three plan reviews with the county over 13 months.

Finally broke ground this week….

Everything depends on your local building department. I’d suggest starting there, sometimes things go a lot smoother when you hire someone’s brother-in-law. ;)

Then you're pretty much going to have to pay a local designer, one way or another, so you might as well go that route. Many states allow structures under some size limit (like 3000 sq ft) to not require a stamped plan, doesn't sound like Missouri works that way.
Managed a design for a project in the Eastern Shore of Maryland about 25 years ago: the county required an Architect’s seal for anything that cost more than $7k; I think my deck cost more than that.
