• WTH HAPPENED TO H-M?

After accidentally deleting a folder, we asked our web host for a backup. As nearly as we can figure, the 1/23 backup did not contain any attachments (over 250000 or avatars for our members). We then asked them for a backup to January 1, 2020, and THAT backup had no attachments or avatars, etc. Their backups were incomplete apparently, and overwrote our files with empty attachment files. We are very sorry for this. We are doing everything and anything we can to right this. HM

ANYONE RECOGNIZE OR KNOW THE MAKER OF THIS 8mm LATHE HEADSTOCK?

Looks like a production headstock to me but no name on it, just the word hard and the numbers 20325 or maybe 20825 DSC09707.JPG

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I already tried Tony @ lathes.co.uk.
There is a Levin single step chuck collet mounted in the headstock but it is definitely not a Levin headstock.
Under the large knurled rings are bearings, quite big ones, the knurled bit being just the cover.
The drawbar is 135.2mm long & solid steel, not hollow like most watchmaker drawbars. The drawbar knob screws on by a fine thread and then appears to be locked in place by an expansion screw?

It can take up to an hour for ads to appear on the page. See our code implementation guide for more details. If you already have Auto ad code on your pages there's no need to replace it with this code
