Hallo members. Just out of curiosity, how many lady machinists are on this forum and what tipe machines do you have and I am even more curious of how your hubbys support you,I know my wife is very supportive and gives her input if asked? This could be an interesting topic.Nelson maybe you can shine some light if there is no reply.

I had 2 at an EDM company in Mpls. MN. Wish we had their quality in some of the guys!

This is why I asked, because women are so meticulous and have mostly more finesse than guys,seeing them work in a machine shop would be a good experience. Not put any of the guys down.

"meticulous" is an understatement.
When it comes to intricate, complicated assembly, men tend to not have the touch.
When I was working in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing, all the assembly that I saw was performed by women.
