Just out of curiosity, how many lady machinists are on this forum and what tipe machines do you have and I am even more curious of how your hubbys support you,I know my wife is very supportive and gives her input if asked? I had 2 at an EDM company in Mpls. MN. Wish we had their quality in some of the guys!

This is why I asked, because women are so meticulous and have mostly more finesse than guys,seeing them work in a machine shop would be a good experience. Not put any of the guys down.

"meticulous" is an understatement.
When it comes to intricate, complicated assembly, men tend to not have the touch.
When I was working in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing, all the assembly that I saw was performed by women.
