Hi All, been a while since I posted any progress on this project so I thought I would do a catch up. All of the running gear is complete, the axle driven water pump for the boiler feed is complete and it now runs on air. Maybe in the near future I will be able to purchase the material for the boiler but copper is getting really expensive. I think I may put this project on the shelf for a while and start working on a twin cylinder, reversing stationary steam engine I designed this past winter. O-well, hope you enjoy the pictures, if I new how, I would post a video of the locomotive running on air.

Baker valve gear it is 428Bird, a lot of work making all the parts but not much else to do on cold winter days and nights in Wisconsin. Spend a lot of time in the shop, it is actually relaxing doing a project like this, helps to keep me focused and my mind active.
