Ok car fans, I have two questions. When was the first self-parking car offered? Who was the manufacturer?

Answer to follow.

That’s actually quite ingenious!
What happens when you need the spare?
cheers

Clever but not really 'self' parking.

Parallel parking the old fashioned way.

My Dad’s first car dealership sold Packards. Studebakers and Clippers too.

That is very cool. I always liked the Packards. Looking through the CL up here, found a belt driven double quill drill press with a brass tag on it which stated it was the Property of Packard Motor Co.
