Being asked about bandsaw fences, I

In my case, cutting ferrous material, magnets attract swarf.
Easy peasy. Just give the knob a quarter turn, and swarf will no longer find the environment attractive.

Sure enough, exactly what occurs. That quarter turn releases the accumulated chips, that built up interfering with fixture locating parts. But then setup is gone too. . .

While I love magnets for organizing I can't deal with the swarf attraction either. The best parts of the auto feed sled is I can totally micro adjust the feed by the air pressure regulator. And once set I can walk away. It's also saving my blades because for the big pieces like blocks and bars I tend to get tired of standing there and try to jam the piece through and end up jamming the blade. It's fun when I get the shaper and the auto feed bandsaw going at the same time :)

I use my framing square and clamp it to the table. A little short. I plan to some day buy the larger 12" square.
