This came with my 1940 Sidney lathe. seems to be good quality, and appears to have just been sitting for a very long time collecting dirt. Scraped the face clean with a razor blade and found some some info. tried looking it up but struck out. Fortunately it's " Fully Guaranteed " Anyone out there have one, or heard of this Co. Thanks, Mike

I’m getting lots of hits for Belco and in everything from soup to nuts! Bizarrely popular name, it seems. Not too much on chucks yet although found this advertising leaf circa 1961. They also made drill chucks. Maybe someone in the UK will remember what became of them?

Thanks Frank, that's more than I found. The only thing I came up with was another guy searching for info. The Sidney lathe came with a larger 12" four jaw also, so I think after cleaning it up I will put a D1-6 backing plate on it for use on my 14" TOS lathe. Would be interesting to hear from some of our British members if they are familiar with the make. Cheers, Mike
