Found this in a big lot I got at auction. That’s a 5/8” drill. Glad it wasn’t me.

From the looks of the right edge, he already tried the BFH technique - So you can eliminate that, and save time :~)
 
Just back that screw out on the side. That should release the drill

Seriously though. I hope you take the challenge and remove it. Nothing a vise pipe wrench and a long cheater bar won’t fix. Along with some tap magic for lube.

Can't be that hard to remove. Maybe weld a bar onto the shank of the drill and use a BFH or press.
 
Coefficient of expansion for aluminium --> 21-24 x e-6 m/(m °C)
Coefficient of expansion for steels --> 11.3-12.3 x e-6 m/(m °C)
Coefficient of expansion for stainless steels --> 10.2-17.2 x e-6 m/(m °C)

However else you tug on it (as well), basically @Aukai has got it exactly right!
HEAT!
 
Toss it in the oven at maybe 450 degrees for a bit then quickly try to remove it.
