Biax gouges

I have a brand new 199 and it looks like yours too. To me it looks like heck and done with a Biax power scraper. I can call DAPRA tomorrow and ask them if they sell Starrett Power Scrapers to be sure.. It looks like they had a 20 radius blade and moved it to fast or it was a 40 radius and the back of the scraper was to high in the back leaving the blade tip radius narrower. If you lower the scraper back end the blade cuts wider and it's easier to corner scratch. I also have a 199 level one of the students scraped in a class. I'll add photo's of both tomorrow night. y Grandsons Birthday is tomorrow.
