Blade Tracking on a 4 x 7 bandsaw

I just went through adjusting my saw the other day. Couple of suggestions.
Loosen both bearing eccentrics so they are not touching the blade at all. Back them away from blade.
At this point... get your tracking bolt on the wheel adjusted. You want a pretty dammed tight blade. Crank that bolt pretty tight.
Now run your saw making sure that the blade doesn’t walk off.
After you get that part out of the way, go to your eccentrics. You want to lower the blade and adjust the bearings closest to the vise. Adjust each until your is square with a work piece. A real square actually helps here. FWIW, you want the blade to be running true and square with as little as possible pulling or pushing blade from lining up with the point where the blade is touching the wheels.
I left my cover screw removed so I could easily check to make sure my inboard bearings were not putting too much pressure on my blade.
Once I got both of those dialed in and locked.... I then adjusted the outboard bearing setting each so that the blade was squeezed tight between the 2 bearings of each mount.
Last adjust the two bearing that ride the back edge of blade.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
