Blue liquid for rust prevention

Zuki, it's usually phosphoric acid solution, with a bit of chromic acid in the mix to help the controlled oxidation reaction along. If you pre-heat the part (or solution) it will blacken almost instantly. It works well. I don't know if US brand names are of any help in SA, but the product itself is ubiquitous.
Thanks. At least I can try to compair it to some products we do have here. I don't no yet where to look for it,but it is a start.

I've been using this product for a few years now. The sealer seams to make a huge difference with rust prevention and further blackens the surface. Blackened a bunch of lathe tool holders that get banged around in the chip tray, the surface is still great, the sealer seams to hang on pretty well.

A rust convertor with a light clearcoat I like this product: https://smile.amazon.com/VHT-SP229-...=UTF8&qid=1546631268&sr=8-3&keywords=vht+rust. The least expensive treatment is Skyco Ospho in a gallon container, about $30.
The best rust preventer is too wipe off tools after use (I like fluid film which is lanolin),especially surfaces touched by hands and store in a dry, covered place. If you haven't used tool for several months they need to be wiped with a rust preventive.
