Thanks Guys,

I've been through the xynudu videos. Really interesting, and will be useful to me, but nothing on screwcutting. Anywhere else I might look? Any idea where I might get a user manual?

Cheers all!

Seriously? OK, they have them at the group I mentioned, specifically

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/schaublinlathes/info
"The Yahoo Schaublin group has the 102 VM manual in 3 .pdf parts.

Schaublin 102 VM full manual part 1 of 3.pdf
Schaublin 102 VM manual part 1
Schaublin 102 VM full manual part 2 of 3.pdf
Schaublin 102 VM manual part 2
Schaublin 102 VM full manual part 3 of 3.pdf
Schaublin 102 VM manual part 3

And 2 for the 102:

Schaublin 102 manual.pdf
Schaublin 102 manual
Schaublin 102 spindle.pdf
Spindle from a 1930s Schaublin 102"

They have it for sale at lathes,uk:
https://store.lathes.co.uk/print/ms476a

And it is available here en Francais:
