Brand New Atlas/Clausing

Someone bought in 81 and never unboxed it. I see it all the time just not literly in the box. More common with accessories just never getting used. Good for the buyer. Vintage quality stuff brand new. Idk if they still make myford lathes but acouple years ago I went to buy some tooling off a guy and he had a brand new myford lathe still in the crate. If I remember correctly he said someone was coming to pick up for like 5k. It's was a very nice looking lathe.
more common with woodworking tools. Guys see what can be made, buy whole bunch of tools and realize it's a lot more than just having the tool.

there is no way i'd pay 2200 for that lathe, even though it is pretty and pristine

i have a Craftsman 80 (AA Products) from 1949, brand new- never used
i still have yet to put it to work myself :dread:

I've seen it as well, oddly enough on a Myford too. The guy was a sales rep for the company, bought himself a lathe for when he retired, but never got around to actually uncrating the thing. It sat in storage for 25 years or more. It listed for 6 grand here but took a while to sell.
