Bridgeport X Axis Lead Screw

Good morning - I just bought an 8F X axis power feed for my series 1 Bridgeport that has a 32" table. My understanding is that the standard lead screw will need modification to use this power feed. I'm wondering if anyone has a lead screw for a 32" table that may already be set up for an 8F power feed or a standard lead screw that can be modified. I'm looking for a back up option so that I don't completely destroy my standard lead screw.

I just cut mine, to add power feed, like you are doing. It really wasn't a big deal to do. The only mod you need to do after cutting it is to turn part of the screw end down to fit in the feed.
