Gang I purchased a 13” South Bend lathe that came with a milling attachment that has the feed screw twisted in two and the brass nut is seized on the threads. I own another milling attachment off of a 16” South Bend. The dovetails are different sizes. I would like to switch the dovetails and see if I can make the bigger attachment work. How do they come off? If it’s just threaded on, are they regular right hand threads and what should I use to keep it from getting the dovetail marred from tooling?93909021-8A65-4916-A5B2-BE98DE2967E4.jpeg

I believe it's all one piece therefore ya can't swap 'em

Thank you and your probably right. I thought I may have a chance when I saw a South Bend milling attachment for sale on eBay last week just like my big one and it didn’t have a dovetail on it. The base had a threaded hole.
