Brown & Sharpe 585 Vernier Height Gauge Scribe needed

As the title says I am in need of a scribe for a Brown & Sharpe 585 Vernier Height Gauge. Any assistance in locating this part would be appreciated. PM me if you have one you can part with.

Who doesn't want a granite (or iron) surface plate & a good height gauge to go with it! I looked up your model B&S & found a few facts straight away.

1) Many are missing the part you seek & the holder / adaptor. Do you have the adaptor? This shows the correct style of adaptor & 1 solution.



2) A 2 part version of the adaptor could be easily made.

I have the adapter/clamp and only need the correct scriber. Purchased a scriber from a fellow forum member but an still looking for the measuring scriber that goes to zero so I can use my height gauge to accurately make measurements.
