Can anyone ID these drill chucks.

These came with my recent mill purchase. They are threaded for 1/2-13, threading the arbor in pushes the little cup against the bottom of the spring loaded jaws which closes them.

Those were mostly used on hand powered drills, sometimes used on cheap drill presses.

I can see that, the design looks like it would be useless on a power tool. Thanks

Yes, and I have seen them on crappy cheap power tools as well.

They could have been made by Stanley, Millers Falls or a host of other makers of breast drills (eggbeaters).
