The photos speak for themselfs.
I've used a halogen dichroic light 55W 12v. (there different beam angles to choose from) since this lights come ready with reflector, lens and are inexpressive.
The wires where direct soldered to lamp pins.
Internally, there a spring pushing the lamp against the clip.

I put a pair of those on my Honda XR650, really nice for the back roads at night.

Mine was homemade. No numbers, tax free and 100% suit my needs
