When I was in my high school machine shop class in the early '60s, students had built a drill press and a bench grinder and other tools; I built a drill press vise that I still have and use. They were built from casting kits that were from a company in Wisconsin that was owned by a distant relative of the teacher; I did some digging and it looks like they are still in business and still sell casting kits; here is a link to Vintage Machinery that tells about them. http://www.vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=3268
If they do indeed offer this range of products, they would be a good candidate for advertising on this forum.

I have been looking but all I can find is the kits for the bulldozer
