Cemented carbide usage?

Used carbide can be silver soldered to steel shanks to make cutters. If the OP is not going to use all of them, I'd also get in line for some.

I recently found some that was used for planer blades 1" by .100 by 1/2", but the smaller pieces are easier to use.
 
I use Carbide blanks to make shaper tools. Have a go at making some custom tools. You can buy special flux for brazing Carbide but I've found that tinning using Cast Iron flux works well. I tin maybe 20 pieces at a time then braze a few onto shanks.
 
Being a gunsmith, the usage would be according to price. I'd be interested in some for custom tools,
