Just got my hands on this old Central Machinery model 981. It was from a friend of the families estate and I plan to use it mostly as a press for quick work instead of setting up the CNC to drill come simple holes. Before I got it I wasn't able to find the manual online. Fortunately I lucked out and the wife of the man who owned it had the manual. She stated that he would always throw them away because he said he didn't need them. And she would fish them out and stash them away for later. Didn't take her long to find it either. So I would like to say thank you to the women in our lives who keep us sane by doing things like this.
So I scanned the manual to share with everyone. Haven't figured out the year of the machine but I believe these are mid 80's.
