they should be in every workshop.
just been working out some angles and trying them against frame.
so easy in card especially when trying to work out two angles at once just keep bit where box folds and double easy
 
Yes, I use them all the time excellent card, I call using them my "Template Division for my Plate & Girder Section" Using card, frequently saves a lot of time and hassle , Lets you see how the job looks before cutting metal.
 
Many auto gaskets come wrapped in cellophane around some of the same weight of paper. The only sort of CAD (cardboard aided design) I have in the shop, and I save every piece. If you use pen to mark lines for the scissor, that is "Redneck" CAD. If you use pencil, that is "Amish" CAD:D.
 
Ah yes, do indeed extol the benefits as no shop operator should be unaware. LOL...

I use it for swarf containment on the mill and as way protectors on the lathe. Those powerful magnets do a good job of holding it in place. I've also found that small pieces of swarf get stuck to the magnet and are less likely to get jammed in the ways on the compound and cross-slide.
