I've been racking my brain trying to fit a quality plasma table in my small shop.
I ordered a Certi-Flat 24 x 36 heavy duty plasma table.
The plan is to mount it under my welding table on 500# capacity drawer slides so when not in use it's out of the way.
These tables come in pieces and are then welded by the buyer = me.
I had their welding table but lost it in the fire. Very impressive quality, imho.
I'm thinking i'll build/incorporate a tray to hold an inch of water that can be drained by a spigot when not in use.

I have both, a 3x4, and the plasma rig from Certi-flat. My welding table has a catch pan that just slides on angle iron. If I drop that farther down, I could try the plasma on drawer slides. HUMMM, another project.

My welding table is 5' X 5' -not shown-, It has a shelf that I use for storage but if I only use 24" of it's capacity I can find a happy medium between storing the plasma table and the needed storage. Horizontal space in a small shop is a beautiful thing.

That's a nice table, I put a storage shelf down low on mine as well, I don't have the table skirt on mine for fixtures though.

There is a lot of stuff to the z axes are you going to slide it to the back of the plasma cutter and roll your welding table in over the top of it? In that case the slides won't work unless there's room to spin it around.

I built the plasma table into the welding table. It stores under the welding table when not in use.
It’s a real sweet space saver. I have a 24x36x2” tray for holding about an inch of water.

I use it all the time. It's also my hot place, welding table ect.
I just put a piece of 1/8" sheeting over it as my welding service, maybe a couple fire bricks for heat treating small parts. It's the perfect height for TIG welding, MIG, ARC etc.

I should add, the water tray is from a rabbit cage application I found on Amazon.
