This was a local find that I just could not pass up on. It’s rare that machinery comes up for sale locally. This was just 15 minutes down the road. Everything works. Needs some TLC but is already been put work already.

Congratulations.
Out of curiosity, what morse taper is the spindle?

Nice machine. There is one just like it, sitting in an abandoned Navy building in PR where I catch the ferry. Mike

I had one of these ,exWW2......Be careful to make sure the 3 phase motor is running the correct way.......the drill head has a reverse, and you might think it doesnt matter.......but it affects the elevation drive ........if the elevation is run in the reverse direction, the kickouts for extreme travel stop wont work, and the whole lot will jam up.....yes-I did that!

All the WW2 contract radials came with the tilting table, and its a top bit of gear........my drill was auctioned by a later owner, and the tilting table sold for more than the drill.(auctioneer separated them)
