I was looking at buying a turn of the century cincinatti mill to go along side my 1918 leblonde 21 heavy duty. I haven't seen the machine in person but I do have a couple of pictures that might help. I think it's about a 1910 #2 universal but wanted some other opinions. Thanks for any help
That thing looks pretty cool . It will look even better next to your Blondi . I'm not familiar to much with that one , a bit before my time . I see it has some type of hand wheel tooling on the vert head and the adjustable X axis is over the top . Buy it !
I might have an arbor support for it, LMK the overarm diameter and center distance, and diameter of the spud on the end of the universal angular attachment.
Thanks for the replies. I'm going to look at it tomorrow and probably gonna buy it as long there isn't any surprises. I love these older machine I really enjoy the leblond and hope to add this Cincinnati to my collection. I'll let you know about the over arm support thanks
Well went and looked at the Cincinnati in person and it turns out to be a no. 1 universal. I bought it so gonna go pick it up in the morning. I post some pics when I get it to my shop and start cleaning it up
Got the old girl home. Been oiling the ways and cleaning it. Have to build a new motor mount for it so I'm working on that. But the machine seems pretty tight. I adjusted the Gibs and it's pretty good. Excited to give it a try. There is a bolt broken on the head tram so I have to fix that to but hope to he milling tomorrow. At least a trial lol
