Cincinnati Royal Drill press

I picked up a Royal 18 drill press today for cheap, it appears to be a later model. It's not in perfect shape, but the 115/220V Fairbanks-Morse 1HP motor and long quill travel (and large swing) will be useful. I'm going to be using it to drill some holes in electrical boxes among other things. Any drilling that needs large swing and doesn't mind a lot of runout, or needs a giant drill bit and thus some HP.

It didn't come with the belt cover though, and I'd like to have a manual as well. If anyone knows where I can get a manual and a belt cover, please let me know! I saw some on eBay but they're pricey and most are not even a full manual.

I recently rebuilt and sold a Canedy-Otto, Cincinnati Royal 16 Drill Press. I believe it was from the 1920's
This project was lots of fun. I love the quality of the castings and the build of these old machine tools.

Phew, late night! Pics attached. I did see a lot of references to Canedy-Otto, from before Cincinnati Lathe Tool Co. bought them out I guess. My drill press looks to be 50s vintage, the "fast looking" model. Which is partially why I'd like a fast-looking belt cover if I could find one.

Thanks! I saw this on eBay and didn't want to pay. The auto-feed and foot pedal-feed mechanisms are crazy to see on a drill press, for me.

In the pics you can see it next to my Delta/Milwaukee DP220 14" drill press. The Royal has about 0.006" runout at the end of the spindle, which I thought would be unusable (esp. after you add a chuck with 0.005-0.008" runout) when I first went to look at this drill press but then I measured my Delta and it had the same spindle runout. And I've been using that thing enough to know it can work for what I need. I have a Cincinnati Toolmaster mill and a lathe for very accurate stuff. Anyway, maybe I should try to take the spindles out of both and replace the bearings.

Another thing is that during the move in the back of a pickup, I think I bent the head raising lever on the left side of the head, but even before the move when I was looking at it in the seller's shop, it didn't really do anything. The head is now cocked to one side and the little lever on the right side that raises the motor for belt changes has fallen out of its groove. There's also what looks to be a piece of square stock scrap supporting the head on the left side.
