I just replaced my broken clutch handles on my 6913. One was broken and one had groves rubbed into it. I shopped everywhere(started at Clausing parts) however no luck buying one with the 5/8 x18 thread insert in the handle. I finally found a 1/2 x 13 threaded one at Reid Supply BTH-9 for $12.00 that was the exact handle dimensions on the outside. I had to call them to get shipping price down from their online price of $25 to $15.
I just removed the stud from the clutch arm and chucked it up in my Craftsman lathe and turned and then threaded it 1/2 x 13 on one half of the stud. It was about 2inches long so it was close work. Came out looking brand new. Turned the other one with the 5/8" longer rod the same way. If anybody is lookin to replace theirs, this project worked for me!
