Clausing 8540 Horizontal Mill Parts

Hi, I picked up a clausing 8540 this weekend and it's missing the overarm support. I was wondering if anyone had one for sale or has an idea where to find one. Thank you

You may be able to get one from Clausing. They do have parts for the old timers.

Don't, however, let the price surprise you. If they have it, unless they have had one in stock for a long time the price will reflect current costs, not what they would have cost back when the machine was new.

One other thing - if they don't have any, usually they will email you either a TIF or a PDF of the original drawing (and if they do have one, they won't give you the drawing).

I have joined the Hobby Machinist
I have the mill running very good now
I ordered a blank of cast iron for the over arm bracket . I am going to make a new bracket out of cast iron class 2
It should be in on Monday
