My Bad - you're correct. I must have had $750 on my mind from another listing for something else I had just looked at.

No problem, I was just curious as why we saw different $$. That mill doesn't seem to have a fine feed for the quill. Is this usual for this mill?

No, not normal. I think this mill likely has a bad spindle. It also looks like the whole fine feed is missing as well, not just the hand wheel. I suspect replacing that could get a little expensive.

If it sells for around $1000 and doesn't have other issues it could be a pretty good deal.
It has the 4" column riser and an aftermarket power feed as positives.

It is model 8520. http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/182/10558.pdf From the pictures the fine feed handle is missing and the shaft that the fine feed handle attaches to also appears to be missing. There is a tub of parts. Maybe the missing handle and shaft are in the tub. Only way to know if the fine feed gears are missing is to take off the cover. Interesting machine. Small enough to fit in a garage shop.

Or a basement with a low ceiling. :) The list of knee mills that would fit under my 6'6" ceiling was not long.
