CNC style inch, mechanical edge finders?

Anyone know of a source for inch size edge finders like this one:




Google, Amazon, Ebay etc. Seem to refer to them as CNC edge finders, but all of the ones I've found have 10mm shanks. I'd like to pick up one with a 3/8" or 1/2" shank and .2" tip. Anyone know of such a thing?

I have a set of those in various sizes. I'm wondering if there is anything available with the larger diameter part well above the probe tip.

In videos, it seems that it's easier to see the kick-out when contact is made, and with less bending down to see it. There are lots of them available in metric sizes, but I haven't found a single one in an inch size.

I've never seen that style of edge finder. Very interesting! The closest I've seen is the type with a 1/2" shank and tip, such as:

Fisher Machine makes one in 3/4" size:

Tried some more searching, but no joy (other than the 10mm type you'd already seen).

Thanks for the effort. I guess I'm out of luck for an inch version.

That's too bad. PerfectCNC has some really nice ones, but all metric.
