Companion Company to VXB Bearings...

FYI:... This company which sells oil seals appears to be a companion company to VXB bearings. http://www.avxseals.com/default.asp Whenever bearings are needed, seals are the next thing on the shopping list. VXB sells these same seals but prices are 2-3x higher.

Interesting you mention this company. When I was at VXB a few weeks ago to pickup an order, I noticed AVX Seals right next door.

There are also two breweries in the same business complex. Well worth a will-call trip if you're in the area.

I ordered a set of thrust bearings from VXB. When checking out the shipping was around $80 from what I recall. I didn’t complete the purchase due to that but had started check out. Later they emailed and asked why I didn’t check out. I mentioned the shipping price and they lowered it to acceptable for me and I bought the bearings.

If someone orders a small order and shipping is high it might be worth a contact to get lower shipping.

I’m not posting to bash VXB but to possibly enhance sales letting people know they might be flexible on shipping charges.
