Compound Screw

I got my compound screw back from Bob today, So I checked it on the new to me compound I got sometime back.The 0 is off so I think I'm going to mill the the front of the compound.

Old compound had a few hits on the chuck, I also cut the glass to cover the taper attachment slot

Iron, what did Bob do to or for your compound screw? What looks like a new compound feed dial looks nice.
Some high nickle rod could fill the chuck chew marks on the front of the compound.
Covering the taper attach. slot is an excellent idea and I like the way you are doing it.
