Compressed Air Dryer Install

I haven't updated this thread for awhile. The system is working as planned. The air from the dry air tank has shown no trace of moisture and the humidity has been unusually high for the last month. Once the distribution lines dried out there is no longer any visible moisture in the air lines. The Harbor Freight air dryer seems to be working fine. Still operating it manually, I just turn it on before I fire up the compressor.

I appreciate this post with the mod's. I do mostly powdercoat and have been using one of those toilet paper roll type filters. But I want to incorporate my small bead blast cab and so it's time to upgrade as the old filter was not really adequate. The HF dryer unit seems the answer. Seems they never go on sale so I'm just going to have to bite the bullet. Thanks for the tip on the auto drain valve too.

Use the 25% off coupons that they email, it is the only real option.

None of the coupons I've gotten have worked. And you can only order it online as none of the stores can even carry, so they tell me.
