I saw the first part before, but its hard to visualize what it was doing, until you see the later parts. So I had to watch the whole twice (ok, more like 5 or 6 times), to see how the movements fir in the finished piece.
I'm an engineer, I can visualize how things work together. not a Artiest, I can't visualize how the various engravings would look until the piece is done.
Hard to imagine a machine still in daily use after 100 years, even a hand powered one.
After you watch the video, go back and look at the watches on the page, and look at how many different operations are involved on ebgraving any of them. True works of art, made easier by a well designed machine, which is in it self another work of art.
