Correct taper name ?

30 or 40, appearances are relative to the size of the boring head, some scale or measurement is necessary to determine number, but having said that, that computer plug in must be awful big to call it a 40 ------ perhaps 30 is more likely, a 30 measures about 1 1/4" diameter at the big end, a 40 measures about 1 3/4" diameter at the big end, and yes, it is the NMTB designation. CAT would have a big vee groove in the flange, which is absent in this example. The NMTB type tapers go down as small as #5, and up to #60.
 
Gotta be a 40 as I thought . 1.730 diameter at the large end .
 
BaronJ nailed it NMTB commonly called NT.
